History Of North Shore Trust and Savings
North Shore Trust and Savings is a financial institution established on January 1, 1921, originally named North Shore Savings and Loan Association. The institution underwent significant changes in its organizational structure over the years. On May 16, 2005, it transitioned from a Mutual Savings Bank to a Stock Savings Bank and changed its bank class to a Federal Savings Bank, with the chartering agency moving to the Office of Thrift Supervision. On December 10, 1990, the institution adopted its current name, North Shore Trust and Savings, and attained full trust powers on the same date.
