History Of North Cascades Bank

North Cascades Bank was established on December 1, 1986, originally under the name North Cascades National Bank. Over the years, the bank expanded its operations and on July 14, 2007, it acquired Mid State Bank located in Waterville, Washington. In an effort to grow further, North Cascades Bank merged with Glacier Bank, based in Kalispell, Montana, on August 1, 2013. Following the merger, the institution underwent a name change to Glacier Bank on January 1, 2018.
