History Of North American State Bank

North American State Bank was established on May 17, 1889, and originally operated under this name. Over the years, it expanded its operations, most notably when it acquired Elrosa State Bank located in Elrosa, Minnesota, on April 30, 1994. The main office of North American State Bank was relocated to Main Street in Belgrade, Minnesota, on December 30, 1989. However, the bank's independent operations came to an end on December 1, 2018, when it merged with Kensington Bank in Kensington, Minnesota, becoming part of that institution.
