New York Commercial Bank

New York Commercial Bank was established on January 29, 1990, originally under the name Long Island Commercial Bank. The bank's main office was first located at 1 Suffolk Square in Islandia, New York. Over the years, it relocated several times, moving to different addresses within Islandia and eventually to Westbury, New York. In December 2005, the institution changed its name to New York Commercial Bank following the relocation of its main office to 1601 Veterans Memorial Highway, Suite 120, Islandia. The bank continued to expand, acquiring New York Municipal Bank in November 2006. On November 30, 2018, New York Commercial Bank merged with New York Community Bank, subsequently adopting the latter's name. The bank's story concluded on December 1, 2022, when it merged with Flagstar Bank, National Association, and changed its name to Flagstar Bank, National Association.
