BRANCH REVIEWS
This is in regards to JEORGE PEREZ, BANK MANAGER at the Nellis and Lake Mead branch, NV State Bank.
Jeorge needs to be retrained on virtually everything. If he is training others under him, such as agents and customer service, then their training is as weak as it comes. He gave me falsified information, purposefully. Let me explain:
On or around June 3, 2022, I had an appointment with him at 2:00pm. At that time, Joerge told me I didn't need my father present because Jeorge told me and recommended to me, because I have power of attorney, which I thought would allow me access to help my dementia-ridden father with his finances and bills.
I originally went in to discuss fraudulent charges on behalf of my father, Vincent Cagliostro. I explained to Jeorge that customer service via the 1-800 advised that they'd close out the card for the disputed activity. This was never completed and my dad didn't receive a new card, so I went to speak with Jeorge on this. A woman — don't know her name — intercepted the information and brought it to Jeorge after I asked if I needed my father present to get a new card and close out the other. He said "yes", and I stayed in the lobby while my husband went to collect my father which wouldn't have taken more than 30 minutes.
Jeorge, after my husband left, came out of a room and started accusing me of giving my dad's card out to "all my friends" and that's the reason for the dispute. He was imying I was basically using my dad and letting anyone and everyone get their hands on it. He berated, bullied, harassed, accused and threatened me and I felt my safely as questionable and was worried. I was alone, by myself, in the lobby. He meant to do this because I am a woman and by myself, acting on his request to wait while my husband got my dad. He droned on and on that I was essentially a criminal that hijacked my dad's card for my own gain. He yelled at me like a child while I was alone and in the lobby. He did this in front of the entire bank customers and bank employees. He implied I had "too many disputes", however, it's within my dad's right to dispute things if they appear wrong. I was bawling my eyes out, again, while alone in the lobby.
I made a complaint today with Jennifer who explained that having power of attorney is useless for financial help. It only protects my father if he has a medical emergency, as in, if he wants resuscitated or not. Jeorge Lopez knew that POA was useless and used that against me when I was following HIS advice and HE PUT ME AS POWER OF ATTORNEY "of that branch", he said.
He said that because I used the word "I" that I was conducting nefarious activity on my dads account. In reality, I said "I" because I thought I was able to pay his bills for my disabled father, I said "How am I supposed to pay the bills now?" and he barked back, "Ever hear of cash?"
He deliberately misled me and then turned around and threatened me, he said, "If you ever call the bank whatsoever, I will close the account." He waited until I was alone while my husband went to retrieve my dad. Why even tell me to get my dad and then before he even shows up, he runs his mouth with all sorts of lies in front of people, humiliating me, and threatening me. My safety felt jeopardized; are these the type of people that Nevada State Bank employs as managers? Incompetent, cold-hearted people who give you false information? This guy needs to be cut for your company's sake.
Anyway. Because wow, he is severely deficient and devoid of education, under-qualified, not to mention manipulative and twists peoples words. When my dad showed up, he then said
About 25 minutes of embarrassment, horrofying and untrue allegations, my dad showed up with my husband. Jeorge then changed his tune, saying he didn't need my dad after all. Of course he wouldn't need my dad at that I guess, because I was already being villianized and accused of things I've never done. He spoke to me like a criminal and ignored my pleas, that he has this confused, rendering me in tears. He ignored that too. He made my husband and disabled dad waste their time and made me cry. I was humiliated.
I will be sharing this review on Yelp, Google and Facebook. People need to be aware of this snake in the grass that you employ.
