History Of Nevada State Bank
Nevada State Bank was established on December 14, 1959, under its original name, Nevada State Bank. The bank underwent a significant transformation in its corporate structure throughout the years. On May 14, 1973, it officially changed its name to Nevada State Bank. In 1974, it expanded its operations by acquiring full trust powers. The bank continued to grow through a series of acquisitions, including the purchase of Sun State Bank in Las Vegas in 1997, Pioneer Citizens Bank of Nevada in Reno in 1999, and later the acquisition of Silver State Bank in Henderson and Great Basin Bank of Nevada in Elko during government-assisted mergers in 2008 and 2009 respectively. On December 31, 2015, Nevada State Bank merged with Zions First National Bank, leading to a name change to ZB, National Association on January 1, 2016. This culminated in another name change to Zions Bancorporation, N.A. on September 30, 2018. Additionally, in 2000, the bank moved its main office to 750 East Warm Springs Road in Las Vegas, Nevada.
