History Of Nebraska Bank of Commerce
Nebraska Bank of Commerce is a financial institution that was established on December 3, 2007, originally under the name Community Bank of Lincoln. The bank underwent several changes over its history, including a relocation of its main office on two occasions; first to 3801 Union Drive in Lincoln, Nebraska, and then again on May 15, 2008, to 6000 Village Drive, Suite 100, Lincoln, Nebraska. On July 31, 2010, it officially changed its name to Nebraska Bank of Commerce. The bank's regulatory status has also changed; on July 21, 2011, it switched its primary federal regulatory agency to The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency. Subsequently, on December 3, 2012, the bank changed its primary federal regulatory agency to the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC), its organization type to a commercial bank, and its classification to a state-chartered bank, not a member of the Federal Reserve System.
