History Of National Bank of Arizona
The National Bank of Arizona has undergone several name changes and acquisitions since its establishment on March 1, 1972, originally operating as Mission Bank. In 1982, it was renamed Mesa Bank and later changed its name to Zions First National Bank of Arizona on May 1, 1987, when it also became a member of the Federal Reserve System. The institution changed its name to National Bank of Arizona on January 14, 1994, coinciding with its acquisition of National Bank of Arizona in Tucson, Arizona. Throughout the 1990s and 2000s, the bank expanded its portfolio by acquiring several other banks, including Rio Salado Bank in Tempe, Southern Arizona Bank of Yuma, and County Bank in Prescott. It changed names again in 2016 to ZB, National Association, and on September 30, 2018, became part of Zions Bancorporation, N.A., following a merger with Zions First National Bank in Salt Lake City, Utah.

I have been with National Bank of Arizona in my area of Bisbee, AZ for 16 years. I banked with this company before the new bank on Naco Hwy was built. I am very disappointed with using this banking institution when it comes to high dollar amounts transactions.
