HISTORY OF MOUNTAIN WEST BANK
Mountain West Bank was established on October 5, 1993, originally operating under the name Mountain West Savings Bank, F.S.B. The institution underwent several significant changes throughout its history, including a transition on June 22, 1999, when it changed its primary federal regulatory agency to the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC), along with changing its organization type to a commercial bank and its chartering agency to the state. On August 1, 1998, the bank officially adopted the name Mountain West Bank. The bank's main office was relocated to 125 Ironwood Drive, Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, on May 16, 2000. On July 16, 2003, Mountain West Bank expanded its operations by acquiring Pend Oreille Bank in Ponderay, Idaho. Ultimately, on April 30, 2012, Mountain West Bank merged and became part of Glacier Bank, located in Kalispell, Montana.
