Monument Bank

Monument Bank was established on September 6, 2005, in Maryland, originally under the name Monument Bank. Over the years, the bank underwent several changes in its operational structure and location. On January 20, 2015, Monument Bank changed its name to better reflect its services and subsequently moved its main office to 2101 Gaither Road, Rockville, Maryland. A later relocation occurred on June 29, 2015, when the main office was moved to 7700 Old Georgetown Road, Bethesda, Maryland. On October 1, 2016, Monument Bank merged with Revere Bank, which is based in Laurel, Maryland. The bank continued to operate until April 1, 2020, when it merged with Sandy Spring Bank in Olney, Maryland, marking the end of its identity as a separate banking institution.
