Montgomery Bank, originally established as The First National Bank of Sikeston in 1934, has undergone several name changes and structural transformations throughout its history. The bank changed its name to The First National Bank of The Mid-South in April 1991, followed by a rebranding to Montgomery First National Bank in September 1999. In May 2004, it adopted the name Montgomery Bank, National Association, and later simplified its name to Montgomery Bank in October 2018, which coincided with a shift in its regulatory agency to the Federal Reserve System and its classification as a state-chartered bank. The main office of Montgomery Bank was relocated multiple times, settling at One Montgomery Bank Plaza in Sikeston, Missouri, in May 2004 and moving to a new location at 1 Montgomery Bank Plaza in Sikeston in October 2022.
