History Of Mitchell Bank
Mitchell Bank was established on January 1, 1907, originally bearing the name Mitchell Street State Bank of Milwaukee. Over its history, the institution underwent a significant name change on March 24, 1988, when it became known as Mitchell Bank. In addition to this rebranding, the main office was relocated on July 20, 1971, to 1039 West Mitchell Street in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. After more than a century of operation, Mitchell Bank merged with First Federal Bank of Wisconsin on December 31, 2020, and subsequently ceased to exist as an independent entity.
