Mississippi County Savings and Loan Association was established on January 1, 1945. Initially providing savings and loan services, the institution underwent a significant change on June 30, 1992, when its main office was relocated to 501 South Main Street, Charleston, Missouri. The institution continued its operations until October 27, 2018, when it merged with and became part of First State Bank and Trust Company, Inc., located in Caruthersville, Missouri.
