Minnwest Bank is a financial institution that was established on May 19, 1941, originally under the name Belview State Bank. The bank's main office was initially located on Main Street in Belview, Minnesota. Over the years, it underwent several name changes and expansions. On February 7, 1997, it changed its name to Minnesota Valley Bank and moved its main office to 300 South Washington Street in Redwood Falls, Minnesota. The institution adopted its current name, Minnwest Bank, on May 1, 2002. A significant period of growth for the bank occurred in 2014 when it acquired multiple branches, including those in Eagan, Montevideo, Sioux Falls, Luverne, and Tracy, Minnesota.
