Midstate Community Bank

Midstate Community Bank was established on April 4, 1884, originally under the name Midstate Savings and Loan Association. The institution underwent a series of changes throughout its history. On January 1, 1992, it was renamed Midstate Federal Savings and Loan Association, and the chartering agency was changed to the Office of Thrift Supervision (OTS). The bank moved its main office to 6810 York Road, Baltimore, Maryland, on the same date. On June 4, 2012, Midstate Federal Savings and Loan Association changed its name to Midstate Community Bank and transitioned to being regulated by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC), which also involved a change in its classification to an FDIC Supervised State Savings Bank. Prior to this, on July 21, 2011, the primary federal regulatory agency was changed to The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency. Ultimately, on October 7, 2017, Midstate Community Bank merged with Rosedale Federal Savings and Loan Association, based in Nottingham, Maryland.
