MidAmerica National Bank is a financial institution that was established on November 22, 1933, originally named The National Bank of Canton. Over the years, the bank has undergone significant changes and expansions. On October 29, 1969, the main office was relocated to 100 West Elm Street in Canton, Illinois. The bank rebranded to its current name, MidAmerica National Bank, on January 22, 1998. Subsequent to the name change, the bank acquired multiple institutions, including The State Bank of Cuba in Cuba, Illinois, and The Lewistown Bank in Lewistown, Illinois, both in 1987. In 1997, MidAmerica National Bank expanded further through the acquisition of The Union National Bank of Macomb in Macomb, Illinois.
