Mid Penn Bank is a financial institution that was established on February 21, 1868, originally under the name Mid Penn Bank. Over its more than 150-year history, the bank has expanded significantly through a series of acquisitions. Notably, it acquired Farmers' State Bank of Dalmatia in Dalmatia, Pennsylvania, on November 17, 1971, and later Tower City National Bank in Tower City, Pennsylvania, on January 1, 1985. In 1998, the bank expanded further by acquiring Miners Bank of Lykens in Lykens, Pennsylvania, on July 10. The 2010s marked a period of notable growth, with acquisitions including Miners Bank in Minersville, Pennsylvania, on March 1, 2015; Scottdale Bank & Trust Company in Scottdale, Pennsylvania, on January 8, 2018; and First Priority Bank in Malvern, Pennsylvania, on August 1, 2018. I have never left a review before, let alone a bad one, but the Huntingdon Mid Penn Bank branch has the most unprofessional employees/manager and is quite frankly the worst overall bank I have experienced thus far.
