Mid-Missouri Bank was established on June 20, 1872, originally operating under the name Polk County Bank. Over the years, the institution underwent several significant changes and expansions. On July 16, 2001, it changed its name to Mid-Missouri Bank and relocated its main office to 330 West Plainview, Suite K, in Springfield, Missouri. The bank continued to grow through acquisitions, including the Tri-County State Bank of Eldorado Springs and Laclede County Bank on July 16, 2001, as well as Webb City Bank and The First National Bank of Mount Vernon on August 4, 2006. The main office was moved to 3546 East Sunshine in Springfield on June 26, 2013. Most recently, on June 1, 2021, the main office was relocated again to 1615 East Independence Street in Springfield, Missouri.
