History Of Mid America Bank & Trust Company

Mid America Bank & Trust Company was established on January 3, 1920, originally under the name The State Bank of Dixon. The institution underwent a significant change on April 11, 1990, when its main office was relocated to Main Street in Dixon, Missouri. On April 19, 1995, Mid America Bank & Trust Company changed its primary federal regulatory agency to the Federal Reserve and became a member of the Federal Reserve System. Following this, the institution rebranded on September 1, 1999, adopting the name Mid America Bank & Trust Company. Ultimately, on March 24, 2018, Mid America Bank & Trust Company merged with The Bank of Missouri, headquartered in Perryville, Missouri, marking the end of its independent operations.
