Merchants & Planters Bank

Merchants & Planters Bank was established on October 1, 1905, initially serving the banking needs of its local community. Over the years, the bank underwent several changes in its main office locations; on April 20, 1990, it moved to Main Street in Toone, Tennessee, and later, on December 1, 2008, it relocated to 411 West Market Street in Bolivar, Tennessee. Ultimately, on April 1, 2018, Merchants & Planters Bank merged with Centennial Bank, which is located in Trezevant, Tennessee, marking the end of its independent operations.
