Merchants Bank of Commerce

Merchants Bank of Commerce was established on October 22, 1982, under the original name Redding Bank of Commerce. The bank relocated its main office to 1951 Churn Creek Road in Redding, California, on August 27, 2003. On March 11, 2016, the institution underwent a name change to Redding Bank of Commerce. Following this, on January 31, 2019, it acquired The Merchants National Bank of Sacramento and subsequently rebranded itself as Merchants Bank of Commerce on May 20, 2019. The main office was moved again on April 1, 2021, to 1015 7th Street in Sacramento, California. Ultimately, on October 1, 2021, Merchants Bank of Commerce merged and became part of Columbia State Bank based in Tacoma, Washington.
