Mechanics Savings

Mechanics Savings Bank was established on February 16, 1875, originally bearing the name Mechanics' Savings Bank. The institution underwent a significant name change on March 23, 1972, adopting the name Mechanics' Savings Bank. In 1976, the bank's main office was relocated to 100 Minot Avenue in Auburn, Maine. Over the years, Mechanics Savings Bank evolved in its organizational structure, becoming a stock savings bank on January 26, 2016. On March 31, 2006, it officially changed its name to Mechanics' Savings Bank.
