MBL Bank

MBL Bank, originally established as the Minden Building and Loan Association in 1910, underwent several significant transformations over the years. In 2002, the institution changed its organization type to a stock savings and loan and relocated its main office to 415 Main Street in Minden, Louisiana. Following this, MBL Bank moved its main office again on March 27, 2007, to 100 MBL Bank Drive in Minden and simultaneously rebranded itself as MBL Bank. On February 5, 2014, the bank altered its organization type to a commercial bank and changed its status to a state-chartered bank, no longer being a member of the Federal Reserve System. The primary federal regulatory agency also shifted to the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) in July 2011. On January 1, 2018, MBL Bank merged with Business First Bank located in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The institution underwent its final name change to b1BANK on December 1, 2019.
