Manson State Bank was established on January 1, 1933. Over the years, the bank underwent several changes in its operational headquarters, with the main office initially located on Main Street in Manson, Iowa. On December 30, 1989, the office was relocated to a new facility on Main Street in Manson. Subsequently, on March 31, 2006, the main office was again moved, this time to 1001 Main Street in Manson. The institution continued to operate until it merged with Security Savings Bank, located in Gowrie, Iowa, on May 14, 2022, marking the end of its independent operations.
