Madison Square Federal Savings Bank

Madison Square Federal Savings Bank was established on April 4, 1870, originally under the name Madison Square Permanent Building Association. Over the years, the institution underwent several structural and regulatory changes. On June 30, 1986, it changed its name to Madison Square Federal Savings Bank and transitioned from a chartering agency under the Office of Thrift Supervision to a mutual savings bank.
