Madison Bank was established on March 11, 1997. Initially, it operated under this name until it underwent a series of changes and mergers in subsequent years. On January 4, 2008, the bank relocated its main office to 1001 Gibson Bay Drive, Suite 101, Richmond, Kentucky. On August 8, 2008, Madison Bank changed its primary federal regulatory agency to the Federal Reserve and became a state-chartered bank, joining the Federal Reserve System. On September 17, 2019, the institution changed its name to Kentucky Bank. Madison Bank continued to operate until it merged with Kentucky Bank on July 24, 2015. Ultimately, Madison Bank became part of Stock Yards Bank & Trust Company, located in Louisville, Kentucky, on June 30, 2021.
