MA Bank, originally established as Atlanta State Bank in 1893, has undergone several name and regulatory changes throughout its history. On January 28, 1935, the institution changed its name to Macon - Atlanta State Bank. The bank moved its main office to 107 Butler Street in Macon, Missouri, on September 30, 1996, and later relocated to 1513 North Missouri Street in Macon on March 25, 2002. On January 17, 2012, it changed its primary federal regulatory agency to the Federal Reserve and became a member of the Federal Reserve System, reclassifying as a state chartered bank. The institution was rebranded as MA Bank on October 5, 2020.
