Lusitania Savings Bank is a financial institution that was established on September 1, 1995, under the original name Lusitania Savings Bank, FSB. On December 19, 1997, the bank changed its organizational structure to become a Stock Savings Bank. The main office was relocated to 107 Pulaski Street in Newark, New Jersey, on September 5, 1995. Over the years, the bank underwent several regulatory and name changes; on July 21, 2011, it was renamed Lusitania Savings Bank, FSB, and shifted its primary federal regulatory agency to the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency. Subsequently, on December 17, 2012, the institution adopted the name Lusitania Savings Bank, changed its primary federal regulatory agency to the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC), and reclassified as an FDIC-supervised State Savings Bank under state chartering authority.
