Longview Bank, originally established as Longview State Bank on September 1, 1899, has undergone several significant changes throughout its history. The bank initially operated from Main Street in Longview, Illinois. It relocated its main office to 210 Logan Street in Longview on August 1, 2003, and subsequently moved to 414 West Main Street in Sidney, Illinois, on December 22, 2003. On May 3, 2014, the institution changed its name to Longview Bank and converted its trust powers to full trust powers. That same day, the bank acquired The First National Bank of Ogden, Illinois, and moved its main office to 102 South East Avenue in Ogden. Most recently, on August 28, 2023, Longview Bank acquired Longview Bank and Trust located in Chrisman, Illinois, marking a new chapter in the bank's development.
