History Of Lincoln Savings Bank
Lincoln Savings Bank was established in 1902 under its original name, Lincoln Savings Bank. The institution has undergone several significant changes and expansions throughout its history. In 1987, the bank acquired the State Bank of Allison and relocated its main office to Main Street in Reinbeck, Iowa. The following years saw a series of acquisitions, including the State Savings Bank in Aplington in 1991, Farmers Savings Bank in Garwin in 1995, and First State Bank in Greene in 1996. Lincoln Savings Bank further expanded by acquiring First Nashua State Bank in 1999. The bank made its first relocation of the main office to 508 Main Street, Reinbeck, Iowa, on January 23, 1995, and again moved to 414 Main Street later that same year.
