History Of Lincoln Community Bank
Lincoln Community Bank was established in 1897 as Lincoln County Bank. The institution underwent significant changes throughout its history, including the acquisition of Gleason State Bank in Gleason, Wisconsin, in April 1971. Following this acquisition, the main office was relocated to 403 West Main Street in Merrill, Wisconsin, on April 27, 1971. In July 2007, the bank changed its name to Lincoln Community Bank and subsequently moved its main office to 1400 East Main Street in Merrill, Wisconsin, on October 22, 2007. On October 1, 2018, Lincoln Community Bank merged with mBank, based in Manistique, Michigan. The bank continued to operate until it was merged into Nicolet National Bank in Green Bay, Wisconsin, on September 3, 2021.
