The institution began its operations with the acquisition of Liberty Savings Association in Lynchburg, Ohio, on September 30, 1984. Over the years, Liberty Savings Bank has expanded its operations, including significant acquisitions such as South Side Savings Bank, F.S.B. in Lima, Ohio, and Colorado Savings Bank, F.S.B. in Denver, Colorado, both on October 1, 1991, and July 2, 1996, respectively. The bank has experienced several changes in its main office locations, moving to 647 Fife Avenue in Wilmington, Ohio in October 1991, to 3435 Airborne Road, Suite B in December 2013, and finally relocating back to 2251 Rombach Avenue in August 2021.
