Liberty National Bank, established in 1902 as the Bank of Elgin in Elgin, Oklahoma, has undergone several name changes and relocations over its history. In 1998, the institution changed its name to Bank of Elgin, National Association, while also transitioning to be regulated by The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency. The main office was relocated multiple times, with moves occurring in 1990 to 701 Eight Street in Elgin and again in 1998 to 4005 West Gore Boulevard in Lawton, Oklahoma. On October 7, 2002, the bank adopted its current name, Liberty National Bank.
