Liberty Bank

Liberty Bank was established on December 2, 1985, under the original name Liberty National Bank. The institution initially operated under a different chartering agency before changing its charter on July 3, 1989, to a state-chartered bank, at which point it also adopted the name Liberty Bank and withdrew from membership in the Federal Reserve System. Over the years, the bank underwent several significant changes, including relocating its main office to 5801 Davis Boulevard in North Richland Hills, Texas, in May 1986, and to 860 W. Airport Freeway in Hurst, Texas, in November 2011. On December 21, 2013, Liberty Bank changed its primary federal regulatory agency to the Federal Reserve and became a member of the Federal Reserve System as a state-chartered bank. The bank's operations continued until it merged with Veritex Community Bank on December 1, 2017, becoming part of the larger banking entity based in Dallas, Texas.
