Liberty Bank of Maryland

Liberty Bank of Maryland was established in 1885 under the name Liberty Federal Savings and Loan Association. Over the years, the institution underwent several significant changes, particularly in regulatory agency oversight and organizational structure. On June 8, 2012, it changed its name to Liberty Bank of Maryland, transitioned to a mutual savings bank, and became a state-chartered bank as a member of the Federal Reserve System. The bank's main office was relocated to 5612 The Alameda in Baltimore, Maryland, on February 27, 2012.
