Liberty Bank, established on October 27, 1995, began its operations in Missouri and was initially named Liberty Bank. Over the years, the institution expanded through a series of acquisitions, including Sac River Valley Bank in Stockton, Missouri on January 5, 1999, and Village Bank in Springfield, Missouri on March 25, 2011. On December 8, 2012, Liberty Bank acquired Stone County National Bank in Crane, Missouri. A significant transformation occurred when Liberty Bank merged with Simmons First National Bank on April 25, 2015, and subsequently changed its name to Simmons Bank on April 1, 2016.
