History Of Lewiston State Bank
Lewiston State Bank was established on September 1, 1905. Initially, it operated under this name until January 5, 2007, when it was acquired by an unnamed financial institution. Following the acquisition, the bank underwent a rebranding and became known as People's Intermountain Bank on September 30, 2015. On the same date, it merged with People's Intermountain Bank based in American Fork, Utah. Subsequently, on November 12, 2019, the institution changed its name to Altabank. The bank continued to operate under this name until October 1, 2021, when it merged with Glacier Bank, which is headquartered in Kalispell, Montana, marking the end of the Lewiston State Bank brand.
