LendingClub Bank, National Association, is a commercial bank that was established on August 26, 1987, originally under the name First Trade Union Savings Bank, FSB. The institution changed its name to First Trade Union Bank on October 6, 1996, and subsequently modified its trust powers in the years 1995 and 1998. On July 21, 2011, the bank shifted its primary federal regulatory agency to the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency. After rebranding to Radius Bank on September 18, 2014, the bank continued to evolve. On February 1, 2021, Radius Bank changed its name to LendingClub Bank, National Association, and transitioned to a commercial bank class as a member of the Federal Reserve System.
