Lawrenceburg Federal Bank, established on October 1, 1934, originally operated under the name Lawrenceburg Federal Savings and Loan Association. The institution underwent several name changes, becoming Lawrenceburg Federal Savings Bank, FSB on November 22, 1995, and subsequently rebranded as Lawrenceburg Federal Bank in 2007. The main office of the bank was relocated to 118 West Gaines Street, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee, on August 4, 1990. Over the years, the regulatory oversight of the bank transitioned between different authorities; it was supervised by the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency until July 21, 2011, after which it came under the purview of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) on May 31, 2012.
