History Of Landmands Bank
Landmands Bank, originally established as The Landmands National Bank of Kimballton in September 1909, underwent several name changes and regulatory shifts throughout its history. In October 1980, it was renamed Landmands National Bank and relocated its main office to 201 South Division Street in Audubon, Iowa. On April 1, 2009, the institution further transformed its identity by adopting the name Landmands Bank, while simultaneously changing its primary federal regulatory agency to the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC), and withdrawing from membership in the Federal Reserve System. This period also marked the transition to a state chartered bank. Eventually, on January 1, 2018, Landmands Bank merged with Crawford County Trust and Savings Bank, based in Denison, Iowa.
