History Of Lake Ridge Bank
Lake Ridge Bank is a financial institution that was established on January 1, 1908, originally under the name State Bank of Cross Plains. Over the years, the bank has undergone several name changes and expansions through acquisitions. It changed its trust powers to limited capabilities on multiple occasions, with the first instance occurring in 1975 when the main office was relocated to 1205 Main Street in Cross Plains, Wisconsin. In subsequent years, the bank acquired several other financial institutions, including Bank of Waunakee in 2002, Independent Bank in Verona, Wisconsin in 2006, and The Black Earth State Bank in 2010. In 2019, Lake Ridge Bank acquired Union Bank & Trust Company in Evansville, Wisconsin. A significant change occurred on February 13, 2023, when the bank acquired Monona Bank in Monona, Wisconsin, and adopted the new name Lake Ridge Bank.
