History Of Kish Bank
Kish Bank, originally established on January 1, 1927, as The Kishacoquillas Valley National Bank of Belleville, has undergone several transformations throughout its history. On November 17, 1980, the main office was relocated to 310 East Main Street in Belleville, Pennsylvania. The bank expanded its services by acquiring full trust powers on January 26, 1995. In a significant shift on October 10, 2000, the main office was moved again to 4255 East Main Street, Belleville, Pennsylvania. On December 28, 2013, the institution changed its name to Kish Bank and simultaneously transitioned to a state-chartered bank. This change included withdrawing from membership in the Federal Reserve System and having the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) designated as its primary federal regulatory agency.
