Kirkpatrick Bank is a financial institution based in the United States, established on March 23, 1970, under the original name American Bank of Edmond. On November 21, 1973, the bank changed its name to American Bank of Edmond and also expanded its trust powers to full status. Shortly thereafter, on November 29, 1973, it was renamed American Bank and Trust. Over the years, the bank grew through acquisitions, notably purchasing Heritage National Bank in Edmond, Oklahoma, on December 28, 2001, and Farmers Bank in Ault, Colorado, on the same date in 2004. The institution adopted its current name, Kirkpatrick Bank, on May 3, 2004.
