Keystone Bank, originally established as Ballinger National Bank on April 1, 1997, has undergone several significant changes throughout its history. On October 15, 2018, the institution rebranded as Keystone Bank, National Association and relocated its main office to 11500 Bee Cave Road, Suite 150, Austin, Texas 78738. On March 11, 2021, Keystone Bank withdrew from membership in the Federal Reserve System and transitioned its primary federal regulatory agency to the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC). That same day, the organization type changed to a Stock Savings Bank, its bank class was updated to FDIC Supervised State Savings Bank, and the chartering agency was revised to state oversight.
