Jeff Bank, originally established as The First National Bank of Jeffersonville on October 1, 1913, has undergone several significant changes throughout its history. The bank relocated its main office to Main Street in Jeffersonville, New York, on May 31, 1985, and later moved to 4864 State Route 52 in Jeffersonville on June 2, 2010. On December 21, 2012, the institution withdrew from membership in the Federal Reserve System, changed its name to Jeff Bank, and became regulated by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC). On the same date, its classification was altered to a state-chartered bank, no longer a member of the Federal Reserve System, and its chartering agency was changed to the state level.
