History Of Isabella Bank
Isabella Bank is a financial institution based in Michigan, originally established on July 1, 1903, under the name Isabella County State Bank. The bank underwent several name changes and expansions throughout its history. On July 1, 1970, it changed its name to Isabella County State Bank after acquiring Weidman State Bank in Weidman, Michigan. The institution rebranded to Isabella Bank and Trust on February 13, 1973, when it also gained full trust powers. In subsequent years, Isabella Bank continued to grow through acquisitions, purchasing The Blanchard State Bank in Blanchard, Michigan, on January 1, 1982, Fsb Bank in Breckenridge, Michigan, on April 16, 2007, and Greenville Community Bank in Greenville, Michigan, on January 1, 2008. The bank ultimately transitioned to its current name, Isabella Bank, on March 31, 2008.
