Inland Northwest Bank was established on October 2, 1989, originally named The Inland Northwest Bank. The bank underwent a name change to Inland Northwest Bank on October 19, 1995, and subsequently moved its main office from Post Falls, Idaho to Spokane, Washington on June 4, 1997. Over the years, the bank expanded through a series of acquisitions, including CenterPointe Community Bank in Hood River, Oregon on July 14, 2017, and the Bank of Fairfield in Fairfield, Washington on October 17, 2015. Ultimately, on November 10, 2018, Inland Northwest Bank merged with First Interstate Bank, based in Billings, Montana, thereby concluding its independent operations.
