History Of Inland Bank
Inland Bank was established on April 1, 1977, under the name Bank of Villa Park. It underwent several name changes, becoming Bank of Illinois in DuPage on May 22, 1987, followed by a rebranding to AmeriMark Bank on July 1, 1997. The institution shifted its trust powers to a limited capacity in September 1984. On May 19, 2008, the bank changed its name to Inland Bank & Trust and acquired both Inland Bank and Trust and Cambridge Bank, at which point its main office was relocated to Lake Zurich, Illinois. The main office was subsequently moved to a new location at 2805 Butterfield Road in Oak Brook, Illinois, on August 1, 2009. In addition to these transitions, Inland Bank acquired First Choice Bank in Geneva, Illinois, on August 19, 2011, as part of a government-assisted merger. As of August 29, 2021, the main office was again moved to Oak Brook. Finally, on July 1, 2023, Inland Bank merged with Byline Bank, based in Chicago, Illinois, becoming part of that institution.
