History Of INB
INB, National Association, formerly known as Illinois National Bank, is a financial institution established on January 1, 1905, under the name The First National Bank of Fairmount, Illinois. The bank's main office was initially located in Fairmount before moving to Main Street in Fairmount, Illinois, on September 30, 1989. In 1999, the bank changed its name to Illinois National Bank and subsequently adjusted its trust powers to full status on August 31 of that year. The main office was relocated to 322 East Capitol Street in Springfield, Illinois, on June 1, 2000. INB expanded its operations through the acquisition of Riverton Community Bank in Riverton, Illinois, on October 29, 2004. A significant rebranding occurred on October 1, 2019, when the institution changed its name to INB, National Association.
