HISTORY OF IDAHO TRUST BANK
Idaho Trust Bank is a commercial bank based in Boise, Idaho. The institution was originally established as Idaho Trust Company on August 30, 1994, but was not initially insured by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC). On December 28, 1999, it changed its name to Wealthbank, National Association, and subsequently became a member of the Federal Reserve System, with regulation by the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency. On August 30, 2006, the bank reorganized as Idaho Trust National Bank and moved its main office to 888 West Broad Street in Boise. It also transitioned to an FDIC-insured institution and changed its organization type to a commercial bank. On December 4, 2008, the bank underwent significant changes, including a rebranding to Idaho Trust Bank, withdrawing from the Federal Reserve System, and becoming a state-chartered bank regulated by the FDIC.
